Keeping an eye on U.S. politics is nothing new for many Canadians, but this election has taken things to a new level.
“It’s about seven in 10 Canadians who are interested in the campaign right now,” said Sébastien Dallaire, executive director of polling company Léger.
In this week’s episode of The Corner Booth, hosts Aaron Rand and Bill Brownstein spoke to Dallaire and John Parisella, senior advisor at NATIONAL Public Relations and former Quebec delegate general in New York, about the tumultuous campaign and how the outcomes could affect Canada.
“This is the first one where where a lot of Canadians are watching this campaign and feel not only that it is polarizing, but it’s going to have an impact more directly on Canada-U.S. relations than any other election,” said Parisella.
