Defenceman Logan Mailloux didn’t play the first five games this season with the Canadiens after being among the final cuts at training camp and getting sent down to the AHL’s Laval Rocket.
Mailloux was then called up by the Canadiens and played five games with them before getting sent back down to Laval. In his five games with the Canadiens, Mailloux had 1-2-3 totals. In his first four games with the Rocket, the 6-foot-3, 213-pounder had 3-6-9 totals.
Have the Canadiens done the right thing with Mailloux, their first-round pick (31st overall) at the 2021 NHL Draft?
That’s the question answered on this Hockey Inside/Out show bonus episode as former Canadiens Chris Nilan and Rick Green, who were part of Montreal’s 1986 Stanley Cup team, join The Gazette’s Stu Cowan.
Let us know what you think in the comments section below, where you can also post a question you’d like Nilan and Green to answer in an upcoming bonus episode.
